For the last 31 years Ukraine has been a free sovereign and democratic country.   In February of 2022 Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine is an attempt to destroy all that.  It’s no secret that Russia is using appalling and devastating force against Ukraine, and happily targets civilians.

Ukraine turned 31 in August, and to celebrate it I ran 31km every day for 31 days in the run up to it.

Like many Ukrainians I feel helpless, scared, and indescribably sad - for both my family and my country.  So this challenge was to raise money to help those back home.  All money I raised went directly to where it is needed most.
